Have been waiting all year for this AMAZING book

Let me just say how excited I am to leave this review. I have followed Marie on her blog for quite some time, and I just adore her passion for diy cosmetics, skin care, and soap. She is witty and clever and her personality is reflected wonderfully in her writing. When this book arrived today, I was giddy with delight as I flipped through all the pages to look at her new recipes. Having made my own makeup for a couple years, I am not a novice but if you are, no worries. There is a plethora of background info on ingredients and techniques so that you can feel very comfortable starting from scratch in developing your own products at home. Marie makes a concerted effort to use as many natural ingredients as possible in her recipes, yet she also develops recipes that are very "professional" and "high end" in nature. In other words, they work! Now that might not seem like a big deal to you, but that's a slippery slope as it's often tricky to not use a bunch of chemicals to achieve long lasting lipstick and mineral makeup. In addition, I can tell she really focused on ingredients that were easy to source. Many of the ingredients you are likely to find locally, but if not, she has an extensive list of stockists and suppliers at the end of the book for customers all over the *world*. Most of the recipes are limited to 10 or less ingredients which also makes these recipes very beginner/budget friendly as who wants to buy 20 different ingredients to make lip balm? Not me! For a more experienced diyer, you can use some of the recipes to tweak or experiment with some of your own recipes. I, myself, have been inspired to play with a couple additional ingredients that I am not currently using. In conclusion, I highly recommend this book at a treat for yourself or a loved one and I can't wait for future books from Marie :)

This is a FABULOUS book! I've searched for books ...

This is a FABULOUS book! I've searched for books on at-home cosmetic formulation and really found very few and those that I did find looked lacking. Marie's book is a treasure! There are clear directions on formulating and blending colors, different options to choose from if you prefer vegan recipes, and she makes YouTube videos to correspond with things in her book so you can see what she's actually doing. Her website, Humblebee and Me, has oodles more recipes for you to make and valuable information you need for formulating your own cosmetic and personal care products. If you're looking into making your own products, look no further! Marie's book and website are all you need. But be warned....this will become a serious addiction!

I love Marie Rayma! I've followed her blog for years and have made many of her recipes, all with great results. I also follow her on her You Tube channel. She is a wealth of information and I have learned so much from her. Plus, she's a hoot to watch! I couldn't wait to get my hands on her book, and it doesn't disappoint! I'm in the process of moving, but as soon as I have all my supplies set up, I will be diving into her recipes. I'm pretty excited to get started. Great job, Marie!

Review of Nuclear and Radiochemistry

The second edition of this text is one that has been utilized in many graduate programs. In fact, the author of this review has utilized it not only as a student but as a teaching text in several courses.

No single text contains all that is needed for an immense field of study such as radiochemistry. However, it should also be pointed out that the weakness in this text is that although it does a thorough job of covering "nuclear basics" it is very short on the "radiochemistry" side of the field. Having said this, it is a must have text for any serious student in the field.

The third edition also includes an account of discovery of the elements beyond uranium. This section is a first hand account by Glenn T. Seaborg and Walter D. Loveland the team of Nobel Laureates that lead to their discovery. Both Glenn Seaborg-an active participant in the discovery of transuranium elements-and leading chemist, and Walter Loveland, provide a unique inside account of the discovery of these elements as well as the first definitive look at their chemical, physical, and nuclear properties.

Good Book

Like many textbooks, this book covers a wide-range of applications and material. It's definitely helpful if you want a reference for a nuclear class, but can be difficult to read if you're using it for an introductory course. Overall, good book, and it's the one I go back to from time to time to clarify any questions I have. Freidlander was also an amazing guy to meet.

Desde el momento que comence a leer junto con mi pareja este libro, nos sentimos identificados con la mayoria de conceptos y situaciones que plantea.

Realmente ayuda a que uno como padre realice una autoevaluaci�n y tomemos la actitud para emprender una nueva etapa en la cual se puedan poner en pr�ctica los consejos provistos por el autor.

Este libro es de lectura sencilla, y se encuentra distribuido de tal forma que puedes acceder a el como consulta, a un cap�tulo en espec�fico como parte de reforzamiento o simplemente puedes leerlo de principio a fin para tener una idea mas sustentable, entendible de el por que, de los consejos.

Es altamente recomendable leerlo cuando tienes hijos peque�os y puedas influenciar en mayor forma en su comportamiento, ademas de proveer informaci�n para hijos adolescentes.

Definitivamente un libro que debe leerse.

A fantastic unique book

This book is really fantastic.

The reader has the pleasant sensation to go through the book like he is attending a course of the Author, step by step, with no rush, having really the time to understand every concept of what he is reading.

Even pathological images were handy for me, because i was given the tools to understand them.

The style of the book is very particular as well, because the method is to teach you to understand what you see, explaining accurately what happened to that patient so that you see that image on the mammogram. I think this method is absolutely brilliant.

Furthermore the book is full of high-quality images and the text is not redundant and tiring, but it is focused to allow you to understand the mammograms.

I think every breast radiologist should have this book!

Must-have reference

I just got back from the course taught by Dr. Tabar and it was phenomenal! If you can't attend his course, then you must have this book. It covers all the material in the course in a clear and concise manner using almost 1600 images. This would also be a great reference for pathologists and surgeons who perform breast surgery, and techs interested in why they do what they do would find this text a great resource. I will use it as an adjunct learning tool after attending the seminar - I would recommend that buyers of this text do the same. Find the time to go to the seminar and then get the book - and good luck in your practice!

A Must Have!!

Being a Zelda lover, I am always ready to try and tackle all the items that are hidden nicely in the games, but sometimes it's just impossible it seems to find everything without some help or direction. In this latest version of Zelda "Majora's Mask", help is exactly what you'll need. I found the beginning of the game a bit tricky, and there are so many "extras" to find that this guide is a must have. I highly recomend purchasing it, if just for handy reference if nothing more. It tells how to collect all faries, hearts, masks, etc. You don't need all these items to complete the game, but after all, you bought the game, paid good money for it, shouldn't you get all you can out of it? Nintendo is a master game maker, and their strategy guides are an all important tool to own. Enjoy!!

Even mastering the game, most players will not have found many of secrets and features. Of course it is also perfect for anyone who is stuck and needs a little help to advance.

The Zelda games are some of the Nintendo games we allow our child to play -- and the book is an absolute must! The Prima series is the preferred version, with information that helps get through the difficult challenges.
If you're buying the game for a child, be sure to add the book or encourage someone else to get it!
Lowers the frustration level (and actually encourages reading!)
